Yuyuko Saigyouji
Ghost of Flawless Immaculate Beauty

Yuyuko is never too serious about anything, and a spellcard fight is no exception. Regardless of how hard her opponent fights, Yuyuko never really tries too hard. It's all a game to her, and as long as she has fun playing, it doesn't matter whether she wins or loses. When Yuyuko gets bored... it's a completely different story. If her opponent is lucky, Yuyuko simply gives up and stops fighting - what's the point if it's not entertaining? If she's unlucky, she's subjected to a bewitching barrage of danmaku of a ferocious intensity, the beauty of which is said to be literally out of this world.

In battle, Yuyuko relies on ranged magical attacks. They suit her personality - she can use whatever she likes, whenever she likes, and the Lady of Hakugyokurou prefers to use wide-spread, random techniques over more focused ones; she's just too easygoing to aim properly. Her showers of danmaku look like Ageha butterflies, but they're simply made of energy. A thousand years of training has left her with considerable skill in melee combat, both armed and unarmed; becoming a ghost has done no favors to her physical strength, but she more than compensates with an unusual combination of her own form and the spirits that accompany her wherever she goes.

Rather than absorbing opponents' attacks, Yuyuko prefers to avoid them where possible (being in pain is no fun ~); as she is always airborne to launch her elegantly effective attacks, landing a hit on the Princess of the Netherworld is a task easier said than done.

Though she seems to be airheaded most of the time, in the midst of a fast and furious battlefield Yuyuko is in her element; the whole "game" has been planned from the start, and consequently the cheerful ghost makes winning a match look deceptively effortless when she has half a mind to do so.
